Important Information
AD&B, LLC works to provide your dog freedom, fun, and exercise. Your pet’s safety, health, and well-being are very important to us.
We only have three restrictions:
1) We only care for large breed dogs, dogs must weigh 30 pounds or more.
2) We only care for dogs who are non-aggressive and do not have a history of fighting with other dogs, because we have a very open environment where all the dogs, that are here, are free to run and play with each other.
3) Dogs must be current on their Rabies, Parvo & Distemper vaccinations.
AD&B General Policy and Procedures
Risks:
Animal Daycare & Boarding has a very open environment, where all of the dogs who are here, are free to run and play with each other both inside and outside. There are risks in this environment, dogs sometimes fight, bite and hurt each other. We do our best to break up dog fights, as soon as possible, but we cannot be held responsible for their injuries. Dogs play and mouth each other all day long, we don’t always know that a dog was bitten. Some bites are light enough and they have no effect; other bites cause injury and may get infected. When they are playing and one of them is biting too hard, we may easily never know. When we know a dog has a dog bite, we look him or her over & determine if a vet visit is needed, if not, we clean the wound & keep an eye on it, until it heals. We monitor dogs and do our best to prevent aggression in both intake and management of the dogs during our care, but we cannot guarantee that dogs will not be aggressive to one another. If you can’t bear the thought of your dog being bitten, then we are not the right boarding or daycare facility for you.
Infections: Dogs bring in all sorts of unwanted things into AD&B – like: germs, bacteria, viruses, canine lice, colds, kennel cough, and eye infections. Like a child at school; dogs in public places like doggie daycare, dog parks & boarding places are exposed to more. We do our best to prevent excessive cross-contamination and infection, but we cannot totally prevent it.
