April and William provide both boarding and daycare for my 4 year old Lab/Shepard Mix. I have been taking my dog Abby to April and William since I adopted her at 4 months of age. Abby has attended both daycare and has been boarded for periods of time. Abby came to me with anxiety and fear. She had significant separation anxiety, fear of men and children and fear of all strangers. From the first time I brought Abby to April and William she has had an excellent experience. Abby bonded with April immediately and was surprisingly comfortable with William. April and William have always provided excellent care and training for Abby. April has gone out of her way to research some of my concerns with Abby and helped me develop strategies and training to address behavioral problems. April has been instrumental in helping me help Abby. I am very impressed with the improvements that April and William have made to the daycare and boarding including in floor heat so dogs with arthritis and other ailments are comfortable; agility equipment and the sand box. In the more than four years that Abby has been cared for by April and William she only had one minor injury when she got a very small stone in her eye. April called me immediately and took excellent care of Abby until I arrived. Abby had the object removed and happily returned to day care.
Abby is always extremely excited to see April and William. She is happy to come to daycare or boarding and always has a good time. I have referred many people to April and William. I would unconditionally recommend this service to anyone, especially if there is a concern or the dog needs special care. The care is excellent, April is very knowledgeable and willingly researches issues and the rates are reasonable especially for the care the animals receive. If it weren’t for April and William I am not sure I would have able to keep Abby. Abby and I are grateful for them.

I have been taking my dog Berney to Animal Daycare and Boarding for several years now and have always been so pleased. The owners are so nice and truly act excited to see my dog every time that we arrive. My dog absolutely loves it too! When we turn on their road, he gets so excited and starts pacing back and forth in the back seat (which is tough for a 140 lb dog..ha ha).
I absolutely love that I am able to take my dog somewhere that he enjoys so much and that I am so comfortable leaving him while I am at work and if I have to board him. I know they truly love animals- it shows in everything that they do.

Great dog boarding service. They also offer military discount. We plan to use them again for the winter holidays.

I found Animal Daycare & Boarding (also on Facebook) on Angie’s List one month before I went on vacation so I scheduled daycare once a week for 3 weeks for my small Australian Labradoodle before I went on a 10-days vacation to the Caribbean.
Those 3 days went great, my puppy loved it. I asked April to send me a couple of emails a day letting me know how well he was adjusting to the place, which she kindly did. During my vacation, April kept me informed of how well my pup was sleeping, eating, drinking, and exercising… My entire vacation went without worries as I felt my dog was always in companion of many dogs and humans to play with.
Did I mention April’s place is gorgeous? She let me see the facility and I found it enormous and I had no doubt my dog was going to have fun. April’s philosophy is very different than many other daycare facilities, each dog’s got their own personalities and they get to choose where to sleep… Impressive!
Rates are super affordable compared with other places in Anchorage.
I am very happy to have found Animal Daycare & Boarding right before my vacation, now I have another place to leave my precious puppy in good hands while I am out of town.

Very friendly business. Our dog loves going there each day and has become a better dog for it. While our dog could probably stay at home, I would hate to take away the great fun he has each day at animal daycare and boarding.

I would recommend Animal Daycare and Boarding to anyone looking to board or daycare their dogs!! I first took my dog in for boarding over a year ago, it was the first time I boarded him and I was worried about leaving him with strangers, however the staff at AD&B quickly put my mind to ease and I knew he would be well cared for. Since this first time he has been back numerous times for boarding and has just recently started going in for daycare three times a week. I know he enjoys going, because whenever we turn down their road he becomes excited jumping around the car while wagging his tail uncontrollably. He cannot wait to get through the door and start playing with his friends. When I pick him up in the evenings he is nice and tired for the remainder of the night and rather than having to take him on a long walk I can attend to my other needs. It is my belief that the staff at AD&B truly care about the dogs they watch they always take time out of their day to let me know how he did, how much he ate and if they noticed any odd behavior in him. They have even gone as far as extending their hours to accommodate my schedule. Again I will say that I would highly recommend this place, if you are looking for boarding or daycare you should go look them over I am sure you will be as pleased as I am.

I can leave my dog here and enjoy myself while on vacation knowing that he is well cared for. Would highly recommend this place and will use again and again! The owners really seem to genuinely care for the animals in their care. It is in their home, my dog hates going to kennels….loves going to this home!!!

I have used April and Williams multiple times for my 2 dogs since moving to Anchorage 4 months ago. I have a male malamute who is pretty easy to deal with and a female pit bull mix who is very fussy and needy and she does GREAT with them, they really take the time to give her what she needs.
The price is a great value and they run the business out of their home, so they are always around to give the dogs whatever they need. I will continue to use them!!!

We left our 2 dogs ” Loca and Brutus ” With Animal Daycare and Boarding for five days, we have used them many times in the past, we always bring our dogs there when we go on vacation. They have always provided wonderful and professional service. Our dogs have always been in good health and fitness when we pick them up. I cannot express enough thanks for the outstanding service we receive from them, They are the only doggy daycare we will ever use. Thank you Animal Daycare and Boarding.
Our dogs are always happy, no signs on neglect, they have a big back yard so the dogs are free to run about.
They were fed properly.
Never had a uncomfortable feeling about leaving them there, because we know we are getting professional service.
The staff are very polite and professional, always a delight to see them.
I recommend animal daycare and boarding to all my friends and family.

I love this place. April and William love animals and it shows. My dog looks forward to going every day and comes back a tired and happy dog.
